We can provide all methods of mapping your Engine or Transmission control units beit via the OBD2 Port, or Bench mode connecting directly to the unit removed from the vehicle.

Sometimes, we need to go further than OBD2 or Bench Mode because the unit is significantly locked down by the manufacturer, Whilst this looks scary, done correctly it is a safe method to use.

Tuning your vehicle can take anywhere between 30-90 minutes depending on the above method used, this includes removal of the unit which can be a job in its self and understandably a level of complexity and skills apply. this is reflected in the pricing which can range between £150- £300 depending on the method used and time needed.

In addition to improving the performance of your vehicle, several deletes can be performed as part of tghe remap. As follows:

  • AdBlue Disable - Removing the AdBlue system to address technical issues where the system is preventing the vehicle from starting. Additional actions are required to isolate the system
  • EGR Disable - Removing the EGR valve from the exhaust system, requires additional work to physically isolate the EGR 
  • DPF/GPF Disable - Removing the deisel Particulate Filter element from the exhaust system
  • Speed Limiter Disable - Removing the speed restriction from a vehicle
  • Swirl Flap (Inlet Manaifold) Disable - Removing the swirl flap control from the  inlet manifold
  • Lambda/O2 NOx Sensor Disable - Removing the ability to detect levels of CO2 in the exhaust system
  • Specific DTC Error Codes - Removal of niggling DTC's that do not affect the running of your vehicle but can cause a reduction in performance. We can advise on the safety of disabling such DTC's before choosing to apply them to the remap.
